Ulster County Office for the Aging and the Mental Health Association in Ulster County (MHA) are offering a workshop series designed for caregivers seeking support and interaction with other caregivers. The workshop will also allow caregivers to learn skills, share information, and learn about available resources. Please note, this is a workshop series, not a traditional support group.
This workshop series will cover:
- Supports available
- Managing daily caregiving activities
- Avoiding burnout
- Future planning
- End of life decisions/Advanced Directives
- Stress management
- Taking care of yourself as a caregiver
- Tools and resources for continued support
