Rondout National Historic District Walking Tour (7/28)
On the walking tour, learn how immigrants and entrepreneurs transformed farmland into a thriving maritime village, and about the rich legacy of commercial buildings, cast-iron storefronts, homes and churches built by the many nationalities that emigrated to Rondout. There will also be discussion about the personalities who played key roles in the development of Kingston’s waterfront district. Some uphill walking is involved.
The fee for this event is: $10 per adult, $5 for a child under 16, and free for Friends of Historic Kingston (FOHK) members.
