Presenting a FREE 10-week Family Support Training for families, partners and friends of persons living with serious and persistent mental health challenges.

This course will provide:

• Current information on bi-polar disorder, depression, anxiety, schizoaffective disorder schizophrenia and more.

• Training on effective communication with family members, hospital personnel, people with disabilities and members of the community.

• Development of stress reduction techniques, problem solving skills, self-care management and conflict resolution.

• The opportunity to build a support network.

Family support training classes are part of a family education model that has demonstrated effectiveness with hundreds of families since its inception nearly thirty years ago. Family Support Training is designed for family members of individuals diagnosed with a mental health challenge, or those who exhibit behavior strongly suggesting such diagnoses.
